This buddy of mine was going to buy the wing at my cost, at my offer, because he had spent alot of money supporting me in the past and I wanted him to get a new wing cheap. He told andy this during a conversation due to questions this guy had and had called andy directly. Andy went off on him saying "he is not getting one of my wings and then selling it to you at his cost,no way this deal is over buy a different brand" Which this friend/customer/student did. Andy M is a bit of a egomaniac. and his trike teaching skills are noted on the video of him trying to teach that poor lady to fly. Lick em and stick em I guess, until you kill one andy.....then you will pay dearly. i would also stay away from him as an instructor. Starting with the Crusty greedy Don Jordan. Last season a Lithuainian guy came to my field, before i had a chance to look at his gear I had him sign the release papers with the airport owner. I had fully intended to let this guy fly at my FBO I get set up and take off while he assembles his machine. He has twin props on it at the moment which I thought was kind of odd for this old FP and Trike. I had never seen one before it was ancient. I saw he was having trouble getting RPM's and took off flying again. I came back down when I saw him setting up the wing. I was not this guys instructor Don Jordan Charged him 600$ for 3 days. I landed to find him getting ready to get in the harness and saw he had a line over on his right side. I asked him to fix it and then saw the most horrible thing about his machine. I am So glad I caught this. Evidently after my very good Lithuanian student translated he told this story AND I QUOTE." he had me taxii the trike, then he had me taxiing with the wing, then he told me I could fly that evening. That evening he decided I was ready and I flew it was so fun until it came time to land, He never told me what to do in the landing and I broke my prop after bouncing off the ground. he told me to come back tomorrow and I did for 3 days total at 600$. I have not been back to see Don again. i did not know these rapide links were not carabiners and i do not understand why he didnt check my equipment. I do understand the difference now that you are showing me the right ones to use. he never inspected my equipment at all." END QUOTE evidently this guy had flown 12 times using the Fly products harness rapide links for carabiners and told us that is how he presented the machine to Don Jordan. then this guy proceeded after being told in depth in his own language that he is lucky to be alive and Don Jordan ripped him off and could care less about his safety if he could allow this to happen. this gentlemans wife thanked me several times for setting him straight. Then he proceeded to go tell one of his friends that I was acting crazy. Obviously he doesn't recognize the difference between crazy and thoroughly pissed off at a fellow instructor. I believe with the fact that DON Jordan has been a greedy man all his life that he almost killed this guy for lack of caring. And people should avoid training with him at all cost. this was a very serious show of neglect in the sport and should not be tolerated. Here are a couple stories, Truth not fiction.
